CEKU - Photography & Creative Writing competition by UKEC

CHANCE TO WIN A POLAROID CAMERA - CEKU PHOTOGRAPHY AND CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION


Calling all camera junkies and those in love with the pen:  We would like to invite you to participate in our Photography & Creative Writing Competition between now and 21st March 2011.


You could either write to complement your photograph(s) or take photographs to complement your creative writing piece; either way, you should have between 1 and 5 photographs accompanying your written work which should be between 200 and 1000 words long.


We accept all forms of creative writing pieces – for example, poetry, essays, short stories, plays – both fictional and non-fictional.


All entries should allude to nation centric themes and motives. 3 winning entries will be featured in the April 2011 edition of CEKU, which will be circulated at the 8th annual Projek Amanat Negara on 9th April 2011, a UKEC organized event themed “Empowering Youth for Tomorrow’s Malaysia”; thus, we would like for you to precipitate this agenda by exploring and expressing your ideas on some of our shared concerns.


There will also be a grand prize up for grabs: a Fujifilm Instax Polaroid Camera (film included)


All entries should be in DOC format.  All photos should be your own and the copyright to them will be owned by CEKU upon submission. Winning entries will be put up on our website www.ceku.org and on our Facebook page – the winner of the grand prize will be determined both by the number of ‘Likes’ the entry receives on both these sites combined, and by the decision of the CEKU team.
