MDI (Muslim Debate Initiative) together with the Islamic Society of Portsmouth presents: A public debate on: Is Islam a Threat to Society? Sami Zaatari vs David Wood  Sami Zaatari has been involved in the field of inter-faith apologetics for the past 6 years, he has held public events involved in the area of inter-faith apologetics in both the U.S., and the U.K. He has written hundreds of articles in the field of inter-faith apologetics, and has also launched the 'Honour the Prophet Muhammad Campaign' on Facebook, a peaceful initiative and Muslim response to the Draw Muhammad Day event, and thus far the Facebook page has received over 315,000 members! David Wood is a Christian activist, and an evangelical missionary who lectures on philosophy. He has degrees in philosophy and biology and is currently pursing a Ph.D. in the philosophy of religion. He is also a member of the Society of Christian Philosophers. David, a former atheist, has been in over two dozen public debates with Muslims and atheists, usually in a public hall or in front of a university audience. This is an event NOT to be missed!!
