Assalamualaikum and hello peeps!
Greetings to all the newcomers and welcome back to all the returning students!
On 28th of September 2013, our society hosted thefirst ever event for the term: PESTA! As fun as the name, the main objectives of this event was to gather all the new and existing members of the society and reminiscing all those 'sukaneka' memories during our primary and secondary school days.
With all those four main 'rumah sukan' which comprises of Rumah Kuning 'The Sunflower', Rumah Hijau 'The Green Army', Rumah Biru 'The Sailor' and Rumah Merah 'The Devil', it does bring back all those fun and joy memories.
The event was held in Victoria Park, started from 10:00AM and ended sharp at 3:00PM. With all great peoples, great FOOD, and fun activities, it was a great success! Big congratulations and thank you for those whom willing to spend their time to participate and contribute throughout the event.

Kickers FC is basically the University of Portsmouth Malaysia Football Team. Establish around late 2009 by Aimran Halim. Kickers FC represents Malaysian in Portsmouth in various football tournament across the United Kingdom.
Recently Kickers FC finish 4th place in the University of Portsmouth intramural 5-aside football league which they qualified for the semifinals for the play-offs. But they lost in the semi-final to the Blues team to 2-0. Which then they won 3rd place (bronze medal) in the 3rd placing after a good game defeating Hotshotz team 6-3. It's the best achievement so far for the Kickers FC in the intramural 5-aside league as they play almost every semester every year. Well they hope that they can be the champion with the support of all the Malaysian in Portsmouth.

Misi Kasih Palestine (MKP) in Portsmouth
Assalamualaikum wbt everyone
![]() |
| UPMY in collaboration with Israa Institution ^^ |
Alhamdulillah, we had another interesting day in Portsmouth on the 30th of November. Thanks to brother Abdul Rahman Mohmad, the director of Israa Institution who came all the way from Sheffield just to share with us about the untold stories besides sharing his experience about his journey in Palestine. The two hour event were just perfect and enough for everyone to have a different perspective view towards Palestine having our concern even more in saving our muslim brothers and sisters that are currently fighting for freedom in Palestine.
| Top left : Part of the committes on duty for the event Top right : participants putting their interest on the talk Bottom : Brother Abdul Rahman Mohmad sharing his experience in Palestine |
A thousand appreciation to all who attend the event that day. Even though we know some of you are quite busy and in a rush for classes and so on. So give a big applause to yourself if you made it for the event. Everyone were giving high spirits over there, Alhamdulillah. :) Besides the talk, we also did ask for donations for the palestinians beside selling dates and money-box for charity as well. We ended our day with a photography session with everyone. Well, I hope everyone was happy with that event and got what you need to know as it is one of the main current issue worldwide. Hope we can lift up our spirit even more by keep praying and do what you must do, so that insyaAllah one day Palestine will be free. You can check the rest of the photos of the event at our facebook page on one of our albums :)
