Invitation to the North East Games (NEG) 2011
Dear all,
This year the Bruneian Society is collaborating with the Malaysian society of both Newcastle and Northumbria Society to organize a sports event. The sports event offers 2 sports discipline for people to compete in. There will be 5-a-side football and badminton. It will be held on the 26th of March at the Soccerworld Sport Centre. Easter would be the best time to hold this event as the weather is better to organize a sports event.
The purpose of this event is to bring together Bruneians and Malaysians from all over the UK to compete in 2 sports disciplines, therefore we would invite the other Bruneians and the Malaysian Society from other universities in the UK to compete in this sports event. It is a chance for Bruneians from other universities in the UK to get to know Newcastle and the wonderful places here.
Regards,
MOHD UBAIDILLAH NORZIHAN

UKECharisma - An invitation
Dear all,
Thank you for taking the time to read this email - I promise it will be worth the read!
I represent the United Kingdom and Eire Council of Malaysian Students (UKEC), more specifically the UKECares portfolio of the council. This year, I am directing our major community service project: UKECharisma.
UKECharisma is an organization that provides opportunites for students studying in the UK to lead and volunteer in community service and leadership projects in Malaysia every summer. This opportunity is open to any student studying in the UK, whether Malaysian or non Malaysian, and UKECharisma will not only provide leadership training and project organization training, but also expert advice and sponsorship for accommodation and food for all the volunteers going for the projects - that's right, all you have to pay for is your flight and shopping, as well as fundraise a token amount to demonstrate your commitment to the cause!
We are currently recruiting students to lead our Summer 2011 projects, as well as students who would like to be part of the executive committee of our big venture, and we'd love for you to be part of it!
So let me make a request - will it be possible for you to promote UKECharisma to the students in your Malaysian and Singaporean society, and if possible, on Facebook as well? We need all the support we can get for this project to succeed and big change to come to the arena of student volunteering, and we'll be grateful if you could get your friends and members to have a look at our website at http://ukecharisma.wordpress.com.
If you or your friends have any queries about the project, or if you need a write up from us for you to post it up on your newsletters/websites, please do feel free to email ukecharisma@gmail.com with any questions or requests!
